Attendee FAQs

The ABX Virtual Experience will take place December 2-3, 2020. Content will be available on-demand through March 31, 2021.

The hours of the ABX Virtual Experience are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST both days, December 2-3, 2020.  

To ensure you still experience the same high-quality content you expect from our physical events, we have selected a slick, best-in-class platform from Sector Global.

ABX is held in conjunction with IWBC, the Industrialized Wood-based Construction Conference, who will offer virtual exhibits from companies who specialize in integrated, offsite, wood-based, and automated construction. In addition, 12 live and on-demand workshops will focus on this sector. 

Throughout the live virtual event you are able to connect with other attendees in numerous ways through the chat function, in our 1-to-1 networking, and in our breakout discussion groups or roundtables.

Yes, there is a Virtual Expo Hall where each exhibitor will have their own "booth" for you to engage with them.

Yes, when the event has a round table discussion, it will be setup as a virtual group meeting room. Attendees can also create their own virtual "meeting rooms" as conference calls.  

The ABX Virtual Experience will feature manufacturers and suppliers of all sizes displaying the full gamut of products, value-added services and the most innovative ideas in building and design. Learn more

Beginning November 9, registered attendees are encouraged to sign into the virtual platform and set up their profile to ensure they can easily engage in peer-to-peer networking. You will receive an email with login instructions when the platform is live. 

The best experience will be provided on a laptop or desktop using Chrome or Firefox browsers. You can use a mobile device, however some functionalities may be limited because of the screen size so we encourage you to use a computer. However, if you opt to use a mobile device, ensure you are on a strong Wi-Fi connection, as mobile phone networks are likely not going to have the required internet speed to handle video streaming.

We understand it can be difficult to ask for approval to attend ABX so we have created a 3-step Justification Toolkit complete with tips and tools that will help you present your case. We encourage you to review the materials in this section to gain a greater understanding of ABX and how to communicate the value it can provide when attempting to gain attendance approval from your manager.
