Attendee FAQs

ABX20 was originally scheduled for Nov. 3-4, but will now take place Nov. 4-5 to not overlap Election Day. These new dates stay consistent with our regular show date pattern of Wednesday and Thursday. Learn more.

ABX is a trade only event and is not open to the general public.

Anyone 16 years and older must qualify to register as an attendee or exhibitor and will be required to show business proof. Children 15 years and younger are required to have a Child Badge and must be under adult supervision at all times. You will be required to present proof of age (i.e. birth certificate, government/state issued ID). Only one Child Badge will be issued per registered adult. All Child Badges must be picked up at the child care office. No one under 18 years of age will be allowed on the show floor during move-in and move-out.

We understand it can be difficult to ask for approval to attend ABX so we have created a 4-step Justification Toolkit complete with tips and tools that will help you present your case. We encourage you to review the materials in this section to gain a greater understanding of ABX and how to communicate the value it can provide when attempting to gain attendance approval from your manager. Cell phone, still or video photography and/or filming of any display or product are STRICTLY prohibited unless permission has been obtained from Show Management and the firm whose booth is being photographed/filmed. Failure to obtain prior consent may result in removal from the exhibit hall. Filming may only be used for editorial purposes only promoting the ABX show, not for resale or profit of any kind.

Yes, ABX is working hard to improve sustainability around all aspects of the event. In fact, ABX has received a silver certification from the Events Industry Council Sustainable Event Standards (EIC SES) for its sustainability efforts in support of environmental and social responsibility.

For safety reasons, rolling carts, rolling bags, strollers and bags with wheels are not permitted on the show floor during show floor hours, except where such carts or bags are a medical necessity. There is a bag check in the Hall C Lobby. The service is $3 per item; tips are appreciated.
